Vibration Environmental Test Chambers

JB Environmental Engineering Ltd supplies a range of Vibration Test Chambers in combination with the Environmental Chambers, allowing the user to subject the test item to a combination of Vibration with Temperature and Humidity. This type of testing is typically used to test automotive and aerospace components and assemblies to stress the test assemblies in real life scenarios of temperature change and vibration created by a moving vehicle.

Our Vibration Test Chambers can be configured to interface with any type, size and manufacturer of Vibration systems as required via the floor interface to the shaker including airtight seal for the shaker. The floor of the Vibration Test Chamber can be fixed or interchangeable for different shakers and is supplied with either a blanking plug or a blank floor to allow the chamber to be used as a standard environmental chamber when vibration is not required.

  • The Vibration Test Chamber with Environmental Test Chamber will be designed and manufactured as per the specific requirement of the customers meeting various international standards.
  • Combined chamber consists of Environmental Test Chamber, Vibration Shaker Interface Provision, HMI/PC PLC based Control System etc.,
  • Our Vibration Test Chamber is designed with unique features to meet the control parameters like Temperature, Humidity (optional) and 3 Axis Vibration Controls which are specified in the specification.
  • The Vibration Test Chamber can be mounted on a scissor lift mechanism with remote hydraulic power control to minimize the human intervention during the operation of combined vibration and environmental test chamber.
  • The structure of the electrodynamic vibration test chamber is divided in two main sections a) Outer chamber b) Inner chamber. The outer chamber is constructed/fabricated with CRCS with electrostatic powder coating to resist all kind of weather changes. The inner chamber is constructed/ fabricated with Stainless steel 304 grade sheet metal with proper reinforcement to hold thermal stress. In between the outer and inner chamber there will be an insulation using High density low conduction mineral wool insulation to avoid thermal losses.
  • The Vibration Test Chamber door will have a multi-pane toughened insulated window with automatic heating control system to avoid conduction for a clear view of the test item. Heavy duty adjustable door hinges are used on the left-side of the chamber and on the right of the door there will be a door-locking arrangement for easy operation of the door opening and closing. Between the inner chamber and door, a double layer silicon gasket is used to avoid leakage.

CHAMBER DESIGN

  • The bottom/floor of the vibration test chamber will have a specially designed interchangeable floor with interface mechanism to couple the shaker and chamber during combined tests.
  • The Vibration Test Chamber will be moved vertically using hydraulic cylinders.
  • The Vibration Test Chamber will be moved horizontally using gear motors with the help of railings.
  • The Vibration Chamber Interface will be fitted with a multi-level diagonally joined airlock silicone rubber sealing the floor and chamber with conduction free isolation mounts.
  • Insulated door with viewing window of size 400 x 500 / 500x 700 MM or suitable with condensation free heaters. Sensors for detection of open door and safety shutdown of chamber operation and alert message on the screen.
  • Feed-through holes: Two sizes of 75- or 125-mm diameter access ports to connect the product during active test conditions.
  • The Vibration Chamber can be mounted on a scissor lift mechanism with remote hydraulic power control.
  • An independent compartment will be provided for the Refrigeration and control systems in one unit. Refrigeration system is designed with Mechanical single stage / Cascade air/water cooled refrigeration system using Hermetic/Semi hermetic compressors. The refrigeration system comprises of control accessories such as Heat exchanges, Solenoid, pressure controls, Expansion devices etc., of reputed makes.
